First Defense Memorandum Request
An electronic service that enables the beneficiary (the defendant or their agent) to submit a memorandum to respond to the claims submitted by the plaintiff before the first session is held.
- Access the link
- Log in to the Najiz portal with the National Single Sign-On (Nafath) account
- Select all electronic services
- Select the Judiciary package
- Access the (First Defense Memorandum Request) service
- Click the (Submit new request) icon
- Select the case for which a response memorandum is to be submitted عليها*
- Select (First Defense Memorandum)
- Click the (Add new memorandum) icon
- Enter the request data
- Click the (Submit request) icon
- The beneficiary is notified by text message with the request number
- A valid power of attorney that includes a pleading clause, if the applicant is an agent for the beneficiary
- A valid guardianship deed, if the applicant is a guardian of the beneficiary
- The case status is under consideration
- Submission before the first session is held
- The statutory articles associated with the service in the Commercial Courts Law and its executive regulations, the Sharia Procedures Law and its executive regulations, the Criminal Procedures Law and its executive regulations, and the Appeal Regulations
- The service does not require visiting the court
